On behalf of the parish of St Mary’s, Dandenong, I welcome you to this Pilgrim Place of Worship. This year at St Mary’s we are celebrating our 125th Anniversary, and over the many years our parish has welcomed and been home to many people from all over the world. We are proud of the heritage and cultural diversity of our parish; our parish motto reminds us that ‘though many we are one’. As the mother church of the Dandenong Deanery, we hope and pray that your pilgrimage to Dandenong and to World Youth Day in Sydney is a time of spiritual renewal and nourishment.
