What are you looking forward to doing or seeing when you stay in Melbourne during DID08?
I had the great privilege of coming to Melbourne (which then became my most favourite Australian city!) in November 2007 during my World Youth Day preparatory mission in Australia. I have never met so many friendly and generous people living in one city before I came to Melbourne. I am very glad that I am bringing with me more than two hundred Czech pilgrims to this hospitable and welcoming city. Hopefully I will suck in Melbourne’s European character (trams, beautiful architecture, parks) and the “unbelievable” sense of humor of the local people!
